USA World Cup schedule begins Monday vs. Ghana on ESPN and Univision

The U.S. Men’s National Team plays in in Group G, widely regarded as this tournament’s “Group of Death.” The U.S. has its first World Cup action June 16 vs. familiar foe Ghana, who knocked them out of the 2010 World Cup with a 2-1 extra time win in the Round of 16 and defeated them in group play four years earlier. Things will only get tougher for the U.S. in the remaining group matches against Portugal June 22 and Germany June 26.

The U.S. Men’s National Team opens its World Cup campaign Monday in Natal, Brazil, with this match against Group G opponent Ghana, who has dealt defeats to the U.S. team in the last two World Cups.

Portugal, one of the top teams in the FIFA World Cup, will be a tough test for the U.S. Men’s National Team in this Group G match in Manaus, Brazil.

Thursday, June 26
USA vs. Germany

Will the U.S. Men’s National Team be able to claim one of the top two spots in Group G and move on to the World Cup’s Round of 16 knockout stage? The U.S. team’s final group match against formidable foe Germany in Recife, Brazil, could determine whether or not the U.S. advances.
