Last month, Madison Rising — billed as “America’s most patriotic rock band” — went viral with their take on the “Star-Spangled Banner” at Daytona. (Their original YouTube video featuring their rendition of the national anthem, from 2012, has garnered nearly 5.3 million views on YouTube.) The band has now moved on to create and perform the theme song for the upcoming new Sportsman Channel series Amazing America with Sarah Palin.
“We are honored to have been asked to write a song for Sportsman Channel and Governor Palin’s new show – Amazing America,” said Madison Rising lead singer Dave Bray, in a release. “We’re all about promoting American culture and showing gratitude for all we have as Americans, and we hope the viewers and listeners will feel a sense of pride come across in our music.”
