7 Questions With … Erin Andrews of ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars”

Erin Andrews, a FOX Sports anchor and reporter, is back in the ballroom. But this time she’s not here to dance. Erin has stepped in as Tom Bergeron’s co-host on Dancing With the Stars and is thrilled to be back. “It is such a family. I’ve labeled it the Dancing With the Stars mafia.” Andrews will bring her tough sideline reporting skills and she won’t take it easy on the dancers. “I’m just gonna be me. And I think that’s why I’ve been able to have success in the sports world, and I don’t see why it wouldn’t be any different with Dancing With the Stars.” We asked Erin a few fun questions.

1) You’re at a magazine rack and can only pick three titles. Which ones do you choose?
I probably always pick up People, Us Weekly and I usually always grab a sports magazine — it just depends on what sport stories they have at the time. I always joke around that when I’m grabbing magazines, it’s so I can be a girl that day just because I have to read so much sports stuff. So I try to grab a little People and tabloids and stuff like that.

2) If your TV carried just three shows or networks, what would they be?
FOX, ABC, and I will probably say Bravo — all the Housewives, and Watch What Happens Live; that’s what I do to unwind from whatever I’m working on.

3) What are three things you have to have in your fridge or pantry?
Yogurt, granola and milk. That’s all I really need to get by.

4) Tell us about a time when you were starstruck.
Oh, my girlfriends will probably say that the first time I met Faith Hill, I started sweating and started telling her how she was [laughs uncontrollably] she was my Michael Jordan. You know how guys look at Michael Jordan, and their hero is Michael Jordan. I was like, “Faith, you are my Michael Jordan.” She didn’t know what to think. And I love her so much.

5) Which sports stars do you idolize?
It’s mostly with athletes that I grew up liking. It’s crazy — I interview the biggest and best right now in sports, but I think it’s the ones I grew up loving with my dad, when I was a little girl watching sports on TV. It was definitely Larry Bird from the sports world.

6) What’s a movie you can watch over and over again?
Pretty Woman. Julia Roberts, I loved her at that time. I think it’s funny, back in the day, watching it and loving the clothes and thinking, “Oh my gosh, Rodeo Drive looks sooo amazing.” Everything has big shoulder pads, and the hotel room was bright pink, and the carpet was pink, and her hair, the red dress.

7) Who are you dying to meet?
I know the person that I ever meet and will be the most starstruck if I ever meet her, or if I am in the same room as her, is Gisele Bündchen. I die for her. She is everything to me.
