Lifetime salutes Army Wives with upcoming two-hour special

Hail and farewell, Army Wives.

Lifetime announced today that it will salute the legacy of its longest-running series to date with a special two-hour retrospective that will premiere Sunday, March 16 at 9pm ET/PT.

Army Wives: A Final Salute will reunite original cast members, including Kim Delaney, Sally Pressman, Brigid Brannagh, Wendy Davis, Sterling K. Brown, Brian McNamara, Terry Serpico, Drew Fuller and Jeremy Davidson, for fresh interviews and personal insights on their characters, the series and its impact.

Army Wives executive producer Jeff Melvoin and author Tanya Biank, who penned the book Army Wives: The Unwritten Code of Military Marriage on which the series was based, will also contribute commentary, along with real military spouses who share their bond with the show.

Army Wives: A Final Salute premieres on Sunday, March 16 at 9/8CT on Lifetime.
