Various NBC Sports networks will combine to present more than 14 hours of USA Sevens Rugby Las Vegas, beginning Jan. 24. The 2014 USA Sevens International Rugby Tournament — fourth of nine stops during the 2013-14 HSBC Sevens World Series — is the largest rugby tournament in North America, and takes place at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas. The tournament will feature the USA Eagles and 15 other national teams competing to gain points in the Sevens World Series standings.
Veteran play-by-play announcer Todd Harris will call the matches for NBC and NBC Sports Network (NBCSN). Harris will be joined in the booth by former USA Sevens captain and USA Rugby World Cup participant Brian Hightower. Marty Snider will report from the sidelines.
