Sarah Palin kicked off day two of the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour discussing her new original series Amazing America With Sarah Palin coming to Sportsman Chanel in April. The series is an anthology of stories that explores some of the most original, interesting and – sometimes eccentric – people, places and pastimes connected to America’s outdoor lifestyle.
Palin showed up in black pants and a black sweater, with three-plus-inch, star-spangled stilettos. She told critics that she’s going to “help bust this network out” with her new series.
Palin will take viewers coast-to-coast into what Sportsman Channel calls “Red, Wild and Blue America” –bringing her “real deal” personality, participating in activities and connecting with the outdoors. The network named Palin the First Lady of the Outdoors and promises the series will be funny, entertaining, touching – great stories about what’s happening.
“You critics are going to have a ball following this show,” she says. “I’m glad to be here because I love critics and you know how much I love the media – can’t beat this combination.”
Palin said she’s more exciting about this project than any of the other’s she’s done in the past. She invited critics to come up to Alaska and experience the outdoors with her and Todd and even enjoy some of their homemade moose chili.
“That is the way we can connect and you can see us unguarded, unchained,” Palin said.
The last person that should be representing America. Who wants a host that speaks in rambling run-on sentences and frequently slip-ups on general knowledge and facts.
