It’s all about Hugh Jackman this week (well, not all) with both Prisoners and The Wolverine premiering. Matt Damon shares the space, with the debut of Elysium and Robert De Niro joins the fun with The Family. If you are a fan of One Direction (or, you’ve got a fan in the household) the documentary about the band, One Direction: This Is Us, also becomes available this week.

The Family Robert De Niro sends up his tough-guy image, playing the head of the Manzoni family, a notorious Mafia clan that is relocated to France as part of the witness protection program and finds they have a hard time adjusting. Kick-Ass 2 Kick-Ass (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) and Hit Girl (Chloë Grace Moretz) return in this sequel that finds the costumed vigilantes joining forces with a group of like-minded citizens who feel the need to dress up to fight crime. The Lone Ranger This big-budget update of the classic Western hero is told from the viewpoint of Tonto (Johnny Depp), who recounts his adventures with John Reid (Armie Hammer), a masked legend who fought for justice. Also stars William Fichtner (PG-13, 2:29) 12/17
