Dance Moms Cares and holiday special premiere Dec. 10 on Lifetime

UPDATE: The Dance Moms Cares special, previously scheduled for Dec. 10, will now air sometime in January 2014, per the show’s publicist.

Abby Lee Miller fans, if you’re wondering how to tide yourself over between next Tuesday’s Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition Season 2 finale and the Jan. 1 Dance Moms Season 4 premiere, here’s your answer.

On Dec. 10, Lifetime will present a double bill of Dance Moms goodness … er, badness … er, both … with the Dance Moms Holiday Special: ’Twas The Fight Before Christmas and the Dance Moms Cares special.

Dance Moms Cares

The Dance Moms Holiday Special: ’Twas The Fight Before Christmas, which premieres at 9/8pm CT, features Abby Lee springing some Abby-style holiday surprises on the moms. The hour also features the girls dancing to holiday songs, and a special appearance by some of the dance dads.

Immediately after, the Dance Moms Cares special features Abby entering her ALDC dancers in an Atlantic City dance competition that’s also a cancer benefit — a cause that’s close to Abby’s heart since her mom, Ms. Maryen Lorrain Miller, is battling the disease.

It’s the first time everyone is back together since the Big Easy blowout during Nationals, putting everyone on pins and needles.

Dance Moms Season 4 premieres Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2014, at 9pm ET/PT, with new episodes airing Tuesdays at 9pm ET/PT.

  3. I don’t know why Abby likes sassy on stage. She doesn’t like sassy off stage. Abby is a bully. There might be some point to it for a worth while cause, but she is only teaching little girls to act like strippers. Not good.
