HGTV Holiday House coming to Santa Monica

HGTV will be putting the Santa in Santa Monica (sorry, couldn’t resist) this Christmas with the HGTV Holiday House. The Southern California shopping and lifestyle center is a “modern-day, life-size gingerbread house that will serve as Santa’s home in Center Plaza through New Year’s Day,” the network said in a press release.

Consumers who are able to stop by might find it was worth their while in a big way, as there will be an opportunity to enter the HGTV Home Holiday Cash Giveaway that comes with a chance to win $10,000, meet HGTV stars and take photos with Kris Kringle himself. The house will open Nov. 23, and beginning Nov. 29 (aka Black Friday), the network will offer fun activities at the HGTV Holiday House including tacky sweater contest, along with cookies and hot cocoa. (Although, being Southern California, it’s not certain how much people will be craving hot cocoa.)
