2013 World Series TV schedule: The best-of-seven-game World Series starts Wednesday, Oct. 23, on FOX at Fenway Park in Boston, home of the AL champion Red Sox. The Sox have home-field advantage in the series thanks to the Junior Circuit’s 3-0 win over the NL in the All-Star Game. The NL will be represented by the St. Louis Cardinals, who with the Red Sox have combined for four World Series titles since 2004. World Series Game 7, if necessary, is scheduled for Oct. 31. FOX’s broadcast team of Joe Buck and Tim McCarver call the action. Critics won’t have McCarver to kick around anymore, as the FOX lead analyst is stepping down at season’s end.
