NFL Films again teams up with HBO for a new edition of the Hard Knocks training camp docuseries, this time featuring the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals were previously on Hard Knocks in 2009. They finished 10-6 and won the AFC North that year, bucking the trend of teams having poor seasons following their Hard Knocks appearance. The hourlong episodes debut every Tuesday, with an encore showing Wednesdays at 11pm ET/PT. The season finale is Sept. 3, two days before the kickoff of the 2013 NFL regular season.

Teams previously featured on Hard Knocks are the Baltimore Ravens (2001), the Dallas Cowboys (’02, ’08), the Kansas City Chiefs (’07), the Bengals (’09), the New York Jets (’10) and the Miami Dolphins (’12). A similar Jacksonville Jaguars Inside Training Camp series aired on NFL Network in 2004, and there was no 2011 Hard Knocks season on HBO due to the lockout.

  1. Please do not add the Atlanta falcons to the hard knocks show. all the teams that went on the show didn’t go to the Super Bowl that year. We, Atlanta falcons fans just don’t want to be seen on the show. I believe it’s a curse as well as the Madden curse.
