Mad Men Season 6 finale ratings highest for season ender in series history

Though some fans and critics expressed ambivalence — or even outright distaste — for the sixth season of AMC’s Mad Men, Sunday night’s season ender drew the highest finale ratings in the series’ history. The episode, which even detractors embraced, delivered an average of 2.7 viewers, down from the season premiere’s 3.4 million viewers, but an impressive gain from the season average of 2.4 million viewers.
