“Ghost Hunters” returns with new Season 9 episodes June 12

Ghost Hunters Season 9 will pick up again with new episodes starting June 12 at 9pm ET/PT on Syfy (it had been originally slated to return back in April, but was postponed until June).

The June 12 episode of Ghost Hunters marks Amy Bruni’s first investigation back with The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS) since going on maternity leave last year. The episode, called “The Ghost Hasn’t Left the Building,” finds Jason Hawes and TAPS heading to Louisiana to investigate the historic Shreveport Municipal Memorial Auditorium, famed for being the venue where Elvis Presley played his first professional gig in 1954. The Shreveport Auditorium has also hosted other legends, including Johnny Cash and Hank Williams Sr.

Wanting to ease the minds of the venue’s frightened visitors, performers and staff, TAPS’ client is hoping that the team can find an explanation for all the reports of paranormal activity taking place at the auditorium. She also wants to know if Elvis really did leave the building, or if The King’s spirit is still around.

Upcoming new episodes of Ghost Hunters will also include “Ghost Friends Forever” (June 19), in which the team explores a bungalow in Little Rock; “Vintage Spirits” (June 26), which takes place at the Belvoir Winery in Liberty, Mo.; “Hoover Damned” (July 10), an investigation at Nevada’s Old Boulder City Hospital; and “Something in the Water” (July 17), which finds the team investigating The Elms Resort & Spa in Excelsior Springs, Mo.

Ghost Hunters airs Wednesdays at 9pm ET/PT on Syfy.
