The month of May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, and throughout May 2013, Comcast, Cox Communications and Time Warner Cable will be recognizing this celebration by providing select Bollywood Hits On Demand and Filipino On Demand content free of charge throughout the month. Additionally, the already free TVK-Pop On Demand service will increase the number of music videos from 30 to 150 through the month of May 2013.

Bollywood Hits On Demand is a subscription video on demand service that provides unlimited access to a library of hit movies including new releases, blockbusters and classics, and a selection of music videos each month. The free preview will offer 11 hours of content including: Son of Sardar (2012) starring Ajay Devgn, Sonakshi Sinha, Sanjay Dutt and Juhi Chawla about a man who becomes the latest target in a long-standing family feud; English Vinglish (2012) starring Sridevi as an insecure housewife who transforms herself by learning English; Cocktail (2012) starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Diana Penty about three friends whose relationship becomes complicated when love develops. Filipino On Demand is a video on demand service featuring Filipino entertainment from ABS-CBN and provides unlimited access to award-winning Pinoy classics, blockbuster hits, miniseries and live concerts each month. The free preview will offer six hours of content featuring popular concerts from favorite Filipino artists Gloc9, Bamboo, Wenci and Anna Fegi, Moonstar 88 and Sugarfree.
TVK-Pop (pictured) is a free video on demand service that offers 30 K-Pop videos each month (last year, Psy’s mega-hit “Gangnam Style” shattered viewing records for the service). For May 2013, there will be 150 videos including Psy’s new hit “Gentleman” and a selection of favorites from 2NE1, Boa, GD, Super Junior, T-ARA, Wonder Girls and more. The genres range from electropop and hip-hop to pop, rock and R&B. The most popular Korean stars and groups from South Korea are featured on the service, which also has created a subculture of fashion and style among teens and young adults worldwide.
