The Bible Episode 4 brings in 10.3 million total viewers

At this point, History should just be able to cut and paste previous releases regarding the ratings for its hit series The Bible, as they have all ended up saying pretty much the same thing — big numbers. The Bible Episode 4, which aired March 24, again made History the No. 1 network in all of television from 8-10pm, with 10.3 million total viewers. Additionally, the series garnered 3.9 million Adults 25-54 and 3.4 million Adults 18-49.

The Bible will air Episode 5, its series finale, this Sunday, Easter Sunday, March 31, at 8pm ET on History. The episode, called “Passion,” shows the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus, as well as the Ascension, Pentecost and Revelation. During this last episode, Peter denies Jesus and Judas hangs himself; the crowd clamors for Jesus’ death; Jesus is crucified, but when Mary Magdalene goes to his tomb, a figure walks toward her – Jesus is back; Jesus commissions the disciples to “go and preach to all creation”; Paul has a vision and experiences a miraculous change of faith on a journey to Damascus; John receives a revelation – Jesus is coming back, and all who keep the faith will be rewarded.

Leading into this final episode, History will be airing the previous four episodes of The Bible starting at 12pm ET on March 31:

12pm: “Beginnings”

2pm: “Homeland”

4pm: “Hope”

6pm: “Mission”

8pm: “Passion” (premiere)
