F1 2013 TV schedule begins early Sunday, March 17, with the Australian Grand Prix on NBC Sports Network.

Formula 1, the top international open-wheel racing series, gets a new U.S. TV partner this year with the NBC Sports Group airing F1 Grand Prix races, qualifying and practice sessions. NBC Sports Network will also offer race replays, often in the early afternoon, for viewers who don’t wish to watch the late night/early morning live races. Action begins with the Australian Grand Prix early Sunday (late night Saturday), March 17.

Four F1 races air live on NBC (including the last two races of the season), 13 on NBC Sports Network and two on CNBC, with the broadcast booth consisting of lead race announcer Leigh Diffey, and analysts David Hobbs and Steve Matchett. Will Buxton is the on-site reporter.
Red Bull Racing’s Sebastian Vettel of Germany won his third straight season championship last year.

Liked the SPEED channel better. Now, an important point: Just wish Vettel would quit doing the damned NASCAR crap with his donuts after a victory—-like him, but find the donuts very “bush-league”, so to speak, and not sophisticated as a F1 victory celebration should be. Too bad many Americans expect that type of behavor at the end of a great event. You what that? watch mindless NASCAR and drink your beers. I’m not a snob, but lets separate the classy (F1) from the ’round-and-’round-and-’round she goes.
stop dissing nbcsn I did not have f1 for 6 years because I did not have speedvision.it is good to hear david hobbs voice again, f1 sucks but it is auto racing and therefore I will watch it.
How could anyone screw this up so bad! They say all good things come to an end! I guess watching F1 has just got there.

HOW CONFUSING .. TODAYS GERMAN RACE IS ON CNBC TOOK ME A WHILE TO FIND OUT ..SPEED CHANNEL WAS MUCH EASIER AND CONSISTANT..
Previous years TV coverage on the SPEED Channel was much better because we always knew where the Qualifying and Race was going to be shown and at what time. With NBCSports you never sure where or when. Good old U.S. commercialism!

NBC should decide where they intend to broadcast the race, I looked all over the schedule and still missed the chance to watch Vettel pass the Old Man… So do I need to Call the NbC Boys for the time and place of the next Race. we need sppeedd Channel
