Argentine Primera Division: San Lorenzo vs Tigre March 10 on Telemundo

It’s going to be a busy soccer day this Sunday, March 10, for Telemundo soccer announcers Andrés Cantor and Sammy Sadovnik. Not only are they calling the Liga MX matchup of Chivas vs Pachuca, but earlier in the day the duo will also be calling the Argentine Primera Division matchup of San Lorenzo vs Tigre, airing live on Telemundo at 4pm ET.

San Lorenzo vs Tigre looks to be a special matchup for one man in particular, as current Tigre manager Nestor “Pipo” Gorosito coaches against the team that considers him one of its all-time great players. Gorosito played for San Lorenzo three different times in the late 1980s, and during the ’90s as a revered offensive midfielder. This weekend, Gorosito will be coaching a Tigre squad that looks to keep its championship hopes alive just like it did in the Apertura 2007, Apertura 2008 and Clausura 2012 tournaments, when they finished in second place all three times after earning a promotion to the First Division in 2007.

Meanwhile, San Lorenzo is riding the momentum it gained after beating undefeated River Plate 2-0 at home last weekend. San Lorenzo is one of just four unbeaten teams left in the tournament, and will attempt to get its second straight win against an opponent that they haven’t beaten since 2011. The last two San Lorenzo vs Tigre matchups ended with a 3-1 Tigre victory and a 1-1 tie.

Argentine Primera Division: San Lorenzo vs Tigre airs March 10 live at 4pm ET on Telemundo.
