NFL Turning Point Super BowlNFL Turning Point” on NBC Sports Network previews the Super Bowl 2013 matchup in a special episode Wednesday, Jan. 30, at 10:30pm ET, and will wrap up the season on Wednesday, Feb. 6, with a look back at the crucial moments of Super Bowl XLVII. “NFL TURNING POINT” PREVIEWS SUPER BOWL XLVII MATCHUP BETWEEN SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS AND BALTIMORE RAVENS

New York – January 29, 2013 – The penultimate episode of Emmy-nominated NFL Turning Point, NBC Sports Network’s weekly NFL show co-produced by NFL Films, airs tomorrow night at 10:30 p.m. ET with a special Super Bowl XLVII preview edition. In this week’s episode: NFL Turning Point examines how Joe Flacco and the AFC Champion Baltimore Ravens will matchup against Colin Kaepernick and the NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers. The hour-long program also looks back at turning point moments in the Ravens’ and 49ers’ seasons.

Hosted by Football Night In America’s Dan Patrick, NFL Turning Point airs throughout the entire NFL season.

NFL Turning Point takes and in-depth look at San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh’s decision to play QB Colin Kaepernick instead of QB Alex Smith, and how the move ultimately made San Francisco’s offense more dynamic.

– NFL Films shines a spotlight on the Ravens offensive line and how head coach John Harbaugh reshuffled key players to help transform the Ravens offense.

NFL Turning Point also explores Baltimore’s defensive unit and how the Ravens persevered through injuries to become the best red-zone unit in the league. In addition, the show examines how the 49ers simplified approach on defense allowed the team to be so dominant.

The season finale of NFL Turning Point will air on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, and will look back at the turning point of Super Bowl XLVII.

Each week NFL Turning Point is built around select NFL match-ups from the previous weekend, and focuses on the crucial “turning point” moments that ultimately defined the outcome of each game. The show features anatomy-of-a-play type segments and long form, Game-of-the-Week style narratives that includes the pre-game and post-game access, sideline sounds, jaw-dropping cinematography and incredible storytelling that is synonymous with NFL Films.
