Tonight, Dec. 4, CBS not only airs Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer for the kids, but also offers the decidedly more risque Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2012 at 10pm ET/PT. Last year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show garnered its best ratings ever in adults 18-49 and women 18-34, and averaged 11.5 million viewers.
Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2012 looks like it should at least duplicate those numbers. Not only does it have a popular show like Rudolph as a lead-in, but it has the traditional can’t-miss elements of of beautiful women in sexy, over-the-top lingerie, combined with three top singers performing.
The artists making their first performances at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2012 are some of the biggest names in music — Rihanna, Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber.
Of course, some of the models who will be walking the runway have become familiar names in their own right. Victoria’s Secret Angels Miranda Kerr, Alessandra Ambrosio (who will be wearing a $2.5 million bra with a 20-carat diamond as a centerpiece), Adriana Lima, Doutzen Kroes, Candice Swanepoel, Erin Heatherton, Lily Aldridge, Lindsay Ellingson and other supermodels will take to the catwalk in this years installment, which was recorded in November.
The special will also include “pink carpet” interviews, model profiles and a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2012.
Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2012 airs on CBS Dec. 4 at 10pm ET/PT.
