If you watch the contestants on America’s Got Talent on NBC and think you could do a better job, it’s time to put your talent where your mouth is. Beginning on November 14, the hit reality show will hold auditions for people of all ages throughout the country — including California, Texas, Illinois, Louisiana, North Carolina and Virginia.
The coveted $1 million prize is still on the line, but there will be a new look to the America’s Got Talent judges table with Sharon Osbourne moving on. There has been a lot of speculation as to who will join Howard Stern and Howie Mandel if they return (neither is said to be under contract), but it was reported here that potential candidates include Carly Simon, Leann Rimes and Shannen Doherty.
There is still ample time to figure out the celebrity arbiters, but it won’t matter if there are no contestants to judge. And that’s where you come in. If you believe you have a unique voice, talent or novelty act that is worthy of a million bucks, check out the America’s Got Talent audition schedule listed below and ask your boss for a few days off.
If a group of dogs can walk away with the title like last season, your chances of winning might not seem as farfetched as you think. (Go to the America’s Got Talent auditions site here for more information and to pre-register.)
