Steve Harvey ends stand-up career with live Pay-Per-View Grand Finale special

After more than 27 years in stand-up comedy, Steve Harvey will be headlining his last stand-up comedy show Aug. 2 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The two-hour farewell performance, called Steve Harvey’s Grand Stand-Up Finale, will also be available to viewers via live Pay-Per-View (PPV) telecast on cable systems around the country Aug. 2 at 11pm ET/8pm PT. After the live show, fans will still be able to access the special via cable PPV for several months, and also on Video On Demand (VOD) beginning Aug. 3. The following providers are carrying the event via PPV: Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications, Charter, Cablevision, Bright House Networks, Bresnan Communications, Verizon, RCN, Metrocast and other independent systems.

“The road to this final show has been an amazing journey,” says Harvey, “doing stand-up for the past 27 years, and I can’t thank fans enough after reflecting on all those years on stage, and the unforgettable moments and jokes we’ve shared. It’s been a wild ride over these years on stage, radio, TV and more, and taking the stage for my final show, I will have a special blowout performance in store for everyone in Las Vegas and watching at home that will be bigger than any show I’ve done so far.”

The special is $19.95 (suggested retail price; HD premium pricing may apply) for the PPV live show and replays, as well as the VOD. The show is rated TV-PG (L). Check your local cable system for more information on pricing and availability.

  1. IT LOOKS LIKE WE’LL BE REVISITING COMCAST,AT LEAST WE CAN GET WHAT WE PAY FOR THERE. SAME ON YOU AT&T, YOU OFFER A LOTS, BUT YOU PRODUCE LITTLE.

  2. Im so upset that AT&T Uverse isnt airing Steve Harvey’s last comedy show. Im a fan of Steve Harvey!!! I wasnt able to see Steve Harvey at his last comedy show in St. Louis and was really looking forward to watching it live from home on my television. Im too mad at Uverse, they had me so hyped up that I could watch it on television. Im sad, sure cant wait for it to come out on DVD. Good luck Mr. Harvey on your last comedy show!!! God bless!!!

  6. After spending 1 hour and 12 minutes on the phone with AT&T U-Verse, the representative tells me that they don’t have a signed contract with Steve Harvey in order to air his last show….. SO PISSED OFF!!! Does anyone know if I can watch it online???

  7. I chatted with a Dish Network representative via the internet asking how to sign up for Steve Harvey’s PPV show, their cost, and if I can record the show. But all he did was provide a link to read about Dish PPV service. I searched and was unable to find anything about Dish offering the show. I pay a lot of money each month for service, and will indeed look for another carrier that provides a wider range of programming. So sad that we will miss Steve’s last comedy show. I hear he was a blast when he performed in St. Louis.

  8. I was searching thru my dish network pay per view information for your show tonight to order, and they are not airing your show….WTF, unreal.
