In his first year as head coach, Brady Hoke led Michigan to a 10-2 record and the school’s first BCS bowl appearance since 2007. Allstate BCS National Championship Game: LSU vs. Alabama
Jan. 9, ESPN, 8:30pm ET
Depending on your point of view, the Nov. 5 meeting between the LSU Tigers and Alabama Crimson Tide that ended in a 9-6 overtime win for LSU was either an epic struggle between two great SEC teams or one of the least entertaining college football games ever. Either way BCS No. 2 Alabama will meet No. 1 LSU again, this time for the national championship at the Superdome in New Orleans.
