Now’s your chance to be the next Miley Cyrus! Disney Channel and Disney XD are looking for some new young talent. If you think you’ve got what it takes, make your roadtrip plans now for auditions on June 4 in Austin, Texas. The open casting call is taking place in Austin, Texas, and gives promising, new actors and actresses an opportunity of a lifetime to audition for casting representatives. Talented kids who can play characters between the ages of 10-18 and who can act, dance or sing are invited to the open call. There is no fee to audition and minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
“With this official open casting call, our representatives are searching for a range of youthful talent with comedic acting ability and/or singing and dancing experience to showcase their skills for consideration in our upcoming series and movies,” said Judy Taylor, Senior Vice President, Casting and Talent Relations.
The open casting call registration and auditions will be held on June 4, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Omni Hotel, 700 San Jacinto at 8th Street in downtown Austin, Texas. An application and a monologue will be provided upon arrival. The Omni Hotel offers self parking for $10.00 plus tax.
