Top Chef cooks up a 20-city tour

By Lori Acken

Talk about your fancy shmancy meals on wheels!

Beginning April 15th, Bravo’s top-rated, Emmy and James Beard Award-winning show, Top Chef, takes to the road for its fourth annual “Top Chef: The Tour.”

The free event provides fans in 20 cities across the country to meet popular “chef’testants,” learn secrets about their favorite show, and — for the first time in the tour’s history — witness a live, interactive cook-off between two former chef’testants judged by local celebrities and audience members.

But there’s more to “Top Chef: The Tour” than just food — there’s fun and games, too.  Fans can test their inner foodie — and their nose — by correctly identifying food smells in the fastest time, or try for a hole-in-one on the Top Chef-themed putting green. And, of course, you can spend some green on Top Chef and Bravo Merchandise. You can even check out the latest kitchen technologies in an iPad equipped interactive kitchen station.

If your mouth’s already watering for a chance to hobnob with the Top Chefs and taste-test their wares, read on for a list of lucky locales which will host the tour:
