Nickelodeon’s 27th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards

Roll out the Orange Carpet, and line up the blimps, it’s time for the Kids’ Choice Awards, the only awards show where winners are voted on by kids. This year’s host, Actor Mark Wahlberg will be joined by tons of celebrities who are all hoping to get doused with green slime.
Music Superstars Aloe Blacc will be performing a medley of his smash hits “Wake Me Up” and “The Man.” American Authors will perform their hit single, “Best Day Of My Life” and are pumped to be on the KCA stage. “We’re such big fans of Nickelodeon and the Kids’ Choice Awards!” said American Authors. “It’s an honor to be performing on the show March 29th, we can’t wait! PLEASE SLIME US!!!!”
Kids can head to the Nickelodeon website and cast their votes in categories like: Favorite TV Show, Favorite Cartoon and Favorite Movie, as well as some kooky categories like Favorite video game, favorite app, favorite Buttkicker (Male and Female) and Most Enthusiastic Athlete. The most awesome category (Read: messiest) allows kids to choose this year’s huge KCA stunt; so think carefully if you want to see Slime Bathtub Races, a Slime Rodeo, or a Slime Obstacle Course. So many wonderful slimy options.
Scheduled to hand out coveted Orange Blimp trophies this year are newbies Andy Samberg, Will Arnett, Michael Strahan, Jim Parsons, Kristen Bell, Debbie Ryan, Chris Evans and WWE Divas Brie and Nikki Bella. Returning Blimp Aficionados are presenters Lea Michele, John Cena, Tia Mowry-Hardrict, Ross Lynch and Kaley Cuoco.
All new Episodes of Sam & Cat and SpongeBob SquarePants will air before the Kids Choice Awards beginning at 7pmET. After the KCAs, if you stick on Nick, you’ll be treated to a brand new episode of Instant Mom guest starring Cody Simpson.
