2010 NFL TV schedule

The 2010 NFL regular season kicks off on Thursday, Sept. 9 at 8:30pm ET with a prime-time game on NBC and what better way to kick off the 2010 NFL regular season than with a rematch of one of last season’s most thrilling playoff games? When the Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints played in January for the NFC championship, the Vikings were driving late in regulation with a chance to win when quarterback Brett Favre threw an interception that sent the game to overtime. The Saints scored a field goal on their first overtime possession to send them to their first Super Bowl, which they would go on to win 31-17 over the Indianapolis Colts. Super Bowl MVP quarterback Drew Brees looks to have the Saints contending again this season, while Favre is coming back (yet again) for another shot at a championship.
