ESPN to air USA vs. Slovenia World Cup match

espn_worldcupThe U.S. will be out to prove it can score more than just a cheap goal when it takes on Group C opponent Slovenia. ESPN airs the USA’s second World Cup match on Friday, June 18, at 9:30am ET (match starts 10am ET). Details from ESPN:

2010 FIFA World Cup: U.S. vs. Slovenia Friday

ESPN’s multimedia presentation of the 2010 FIFA World Cup continues in South Africa with three games each day through Monday, June 21, including the U.S. vs. Slovenia on Friday, June 18, at 9:30 a.m. ET in a key Group C matchup.  Ian Darke and John Harkes will call the action for the U.S./Slovenia game.

All matches will be aired live and in high definition on ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC, with extensive coverage also on ESPN3.com and ESPN Mobile TV.  In addition, 2010 FIFA World Cup studio programs, including prematch, halftime and postmatch segments, will be presented in high definition.
