Where to watch Tiger Woods’ press statement

ESPN will have coverage of Tiger Woods’ first public statement since the events of last Thanksgiving and the media firestorm surrounding his alleged marital infidelity. Woods is expected to release a statement on Friday, Feb. 19 at 11am ET — possibly announcing his return to competitive golf — but not field any questions from reporters. Tiger Woods Statement Live on ESPN Media Platforms

ESPN’s SportsCenter, ESPNEWS, First Take (ESPN2), ESPN.com (streaming live), ESPN Radio (during The Herd with Colin Cowherd) and ESPN Mobile (streaming live) will present live coverage of Tiger Woods statement Friday, 11 a.m. ET at the TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla., home of the PGA Tour.

Reporter Tom Rinaldi and ESPN golf host Mike Tirico will be in Florida, while Colleen Dominguez will be in Marana, Ariz., site of the World Golf Championships-Accenture Match Play Championship, for player reaction. ESPN.com golf writer Bob Harig will provide on-site coverage from Florida.

Golf Channel to Deliver Comprehensive Coverage of Tiger Woods’ Statement to the Media Friday Beginning at 10:30 a.m. ET

ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 18, 2010 – Golf Channel will deliver wall-to-wall coverage of Tiger Woods’ statement to the media on Friday, with the network’s reporters on-site at Ponte Vedra Beach, its Orlando studios and in Arizona at the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship.

Golf Channel and GolfChannel.com’s live coverage will begin at 10:30 a.m. ET, followed by Woods’ statement to the media at 11 a.m. ET.  Kraig Kann, Brandel Chamblee and Charlie Rymer will anchor coverage from the network’s Orlando studios, joined by Rich Lerner and Steve Sands from Ponte Vedra Beach and Jim Gray and Frank Nobilo from the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship in Arizona.

Golf Channel’s coverage is scheduled to include:
·        Interviews with PGA TOUR Professionals prior to Woods’ statement.
