NFL Network announced its “everything but the game itself” coverage of Super Bowl XLIV from South Florida. Highlights include 8.5 hours of pregame coverage on Sunday, along with 65 hours of original programming from South Florida. From NFL Network:

Beginning Wednesday, January 27, NFL Network sets down in South Florida and for 13 days, brings viewers wall-to-wall coverage of the 2010 Pro Bowl, Super Bowl XLIV and all the events in between. On Super Bowl Sunday, NFL Network’s pregame show, NFL GameDay Morning will provide a record 8 ½ hours of live coverage starting at 9:00 AM ET with 17 on-air personalities from four locations across South Florida.

With more than 65 hours of original programming from South Florida combined with the classic, complementary Super Bowl content including Emmy award-winning NFL Films specials that can only be found on NFL Network, fans receive the complete NFL postseason experience with more than 100 hours of round-the-clock programming.

For the first time ever, the Pro Bowl sets the stage for all the excitement of Super Bowl week. January 27-29 from 9:00 AM-12 Noon ET and January 30 from 9:00-11:00 AM ET, Rich Eisen, Michael Irvin and Deion Sanders bring viewers four days of live, high-definition coverage of both AFC and NFC practices with analysis, interviews and wired sound from the field. On game day, Sunday, January 31, the trio teams up with Marshall Faulk and Stacey Dales for a 2 ½ hour NFL Total Access Pro Bowl Pregame Show at 5:00 PM ET, followed by a one-hour postgame show after the game.

NFL Network’s coverage makes a seamless transition into Super Bowl week with its signature programs NFL Total Access, NFL GameDay Morning, NFL GameDay Final, The Coaches Show and Playbook. The week begins with a 2 ½ hour NFL Total Access at the Super Bowl Monday, February 1 at 3:00 PM ET. Fran Charles, Jason La Canfora, Steve Mariucci, Rod Woodson and Jamie Dukes cover the arrivals of both AFC and NFC representatives to South Florida from NFL Network’s on location set overlooking the popular Ocean Drive on South Beach.

In addition to the South Beach location, NFL Network also holds a presence in the middle of the media hub broadcasting 21 live hours from the Media Center and provides all-access coverage of Tuesday’s Media Day live from Sun Life Stadium with interviews and sound from both AFC and NFC teams.

NFL Network’s round-the-clock Super Bowl coverage includes 56.5 hours of LIVE programming from all across South Florida making the network the premiere place for the most Super Bowl XLIV coverage.
