And not just from the cast changes. The Hollywood Reporter says that all the principal actors are slated to return (giving deference to their pilot deals this fall), and that Zach Braff and Sarah Chalke could even return for guest spots. This has all been speculated upon before, but what’s new is the idea that Scrubs could switch from its single-camera style to a more traditional multi-camera setup, which would presumably include a laugh track, or a live studio audience.
On Scandal, Guillermo Diaz is a badass — and not your run-of-the-mill badass, who might ride a Harley, have a tattoo and deck someone who deserves it. As Huck, he’s a former CIA agent, who has assassinated world leaders and is trained in torture. Last week’s shocking elimination of Cody Simpson deflated a little of the energy surrounding this season’s Dancing With The Stars cast. I was definitely hard on Cody about his swagger, but he was certainly fun to watch. His dance style was a cool blend of pop-and-lock and flow dancing and I was impressed that he was forever true to himself by imparting his personality into everything he did. For a seventeen year-old guy, he already has himself pretty well figured out. I don’t imagine this kid going through a wool-socks and Birkenstocks “finding myself” phase.
