Yeah, the Grammys are this weekend and the Oscars are coming up, but the kids don’t care about them — the stuff they like never wins, anyway. Fortunately for them, Nickelodeon’s 22nd Annual Kids’ Choice Awards nominations are out, and starting March 2, kids will be able to go online at nick.com/kca and pick their favorites.
The Kids’ Choice Awards is always a pretty messy affair, with lots of Nickelodeon’s patented green slime. (It’s a secret recipe. I asked.) And it’s usually a pretty fun gig for the host as well. In recent years, Justin Timberlake and Jack Black have taken turns emceeing the proceedings, but this year Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson takes the podium when the ceremony airs live from UCLA’s Pauley Pavilion March 28.
