What the hell is E! thinking?! It was announced yesterday that the entertainment network is in talks with Lindsay Lohan’s mother Dina about fronting her own reality show. Now, don’t get me wrong – I love me some True Hollywood Story, those Girls Next Door and even my latest guilty pleasure Sunset Tan (more on that tomorrow). But giving Hollywood’s most despicable mother her own series? That’s just taking this whole “celeb” reality thing a little too far, E.
“Mom-ager” will apparently follow Mother Lohan as she seeks stardom for Ali, 14, and Cody, 11. Great idea, Dina. Stardom worked out so well for Lindsay, right? Let’s get your younger kids off the wagon early! My theory? With Lindsay in rehab for the second time, Dina needs a new a) meal ticket, or b) clubbing buddy.
Please, E! – don’t give this fame-hungry leech any more of her 15 minutes.
Speaking of Sunset Tan and Lindsay Lohan, did you see in the first episode of “Tan” that one mother wanted her daughter (probably no more than 10 or 11) to get a spray on tan so she could look like Lindsay for her school picture? The mom kept asking, “You want to look like Lindsay Lohan, right?” That’s a nice role model to promote.
