The 4th OT: O’Dorney & LeBron Shall Rule Us All

So it turns out while we were heavily into the well-spoken young socialite Evan O’Dorney effortlessly crushing that foreign kid in the spelling bee last night, we missed LeBron James working some serious mojo himself, scoring 25 consecutive points and 29 of the Cavs’ last 30. We made our choice and we’re sticking with it. Here’s some stuff to watch instead of using your love of mathematics to compose your own piano concertos:

Tonight

College Softball: College World Series Games 5 & 6 from Oklahoma City (ESPN2). Yeah, tonight’s pretty much a throwaway. Go see Knocked Up or something.

Saturday

Major League Baseball: N.Y. Yankees at Boston Red Sox or St. Louis Cardinals at Houston Astros (FOX/FOX HD). FOX is ticked that Roger Clemens isn’t making his start until Monday’s game vs. the White Sox.

NHL Stanley Cup Finals: Anaheim Ducks at Ottawa Senators, Game 3 (NBC/NBC HD). Like the Canadian kid in the spelling bee finals, the Senators have run into the NHL’s version of Evan O’Dorney.

NBA Playoffs: Detroit Pistons at Cleveland Cavaliers, Eastern Conference Finals, Game 6 (TNT/TNT HD). Bow before King James! His 48 points in the Cavs’ 2OT win over the Pistons last night put His Majesty on the brink of the NBA Finals.

Sunday

NASCAR Nextel Cup Autism Speaks 400 Presented by Visa (FOX/FOX HD). Jeff Gordon is an excellent driver. His dad lets him drive slow on the driveway. He’s an excellent driver.

Cycling: Giro d’Italia, final stage, same-day tape from Milan, Italy (Versus). OK, let’s see a show of hands. Who right now is not doped up or testosteroned out? Anyone? Anyone?

Major League Baseball: N.Y. Yankees at Boston Red Sox (ESPN/ESPN HD). I think O’Dorney would’ve gotten dinged trying to spell Mientkiewicz.
