’Tis The Season For Finales!

Hey, gang, the next few weeks see the traditional season finales of your favorite shows. Check ’em out:

May 16

America’s Next Top Model (The CW, 8pm ET/PT) Details TBA

Bones (FOX, 8pm ET/PT) “Stargazer in a Puddle” While Brennan investigates a case that strikes an especially emotional chord with her, her father (guest star Ryan O’Neal) tries to reconnect with her. Hodgins and Angela walk down the aisle with Brennan and Booth as maid of honor and best man, but all does not go as planned.

According to Jim (ABC, 8:30pm ET/PT) “Jim’s Birthday” Jim is turning 50 and doesn’t want a birthday party, but Cheryl, not believing him, throws him a surprise party — which he deliberately sabotages.

Criminal Minds (CBS, 9pm ET/PT) — “No Way Out, Part II: The Evilution of Frank” Gideon takes off to hunt Frank (Keith Carradine), an elusive and prolific serial killer, without telling the BAU, and the team must profile Gideon as a suspect in order to find them both.

CSI: NY (CBS, 10pm ET/PT) — “Snow Day” Following the largest drug seizure in city history, Mac, Stella and Hawkes are forced to save the lab when a drug lord and his crew descend upon the CSI’s vault to retrieve their merchandise, and two CSIs are held hostage.

Ugly Betty (8pm ET/PT) “East Side Story” Betty and Henry’s romance heats up. Meanwhile, Wilhelmina makes great strides in her ambitious power play, and Daniel descends further in a downward spiral. The Suarez family trip to Mexico takes a dangerous turn, as old ghosts create new problems. Explosive secrets will be revealed, and everything will be tied together by a beloved Broadway musical. Gina Gershon reprises her role as cosmetics mogul Fabia.

Grey’s Anatomy (ABC, 9pm ET/PT) “Didn’t We Almost Have It All” Cristina and Burke’s wedding day arrives, along with the interns’ exam results. Meanwhile, a successor to the chief is named, as Callie and George make a big decision about their relationship.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (CBS, 9pm ET/PT) — “Living Doll” As the CSI team comes closer to identifying the miniature killer, Sara mysteriously goes missing, forcing her relationship with Grissom out into the open.

Numb3rs (CBS, 10pm ET/PT) — “The Janus List” In the wake of a deadly standoff with a mysterious and brilliant bomber, Don and Charlie discover that he was poisoned to keep him from exposing a shocking secret that will change the FBI team forever.

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (ABC, 7pm ET/PT) TWO PART FINALE “Oatman-Gaitan Family” The Oatman-Gaitan family from Schenectady, NY, have two adopted sons currently living with HIV. Ty and the gang inform then that they will have their home renovated in just seven days.

King of the Hill (FOX, 7pm ET/PT) ONE HOUR FINALE “Bill, Bulk, and the Body Buddies/Lucky’s Wedding Suit” While trying to get in shape for his work physical, Bill bulks up and befriends a group of bodybuilders, but becomes an aggressive meathead like his trainer. Meanwhile, Luanne decides she wants an expensive wedding, so Lucky sues Dale after a fall on the job to get some extra cash.

The Simpsons (FOX, 8pm ET/PT) ONE HOUR FINALE AND SERIES’ 400th EPISODE “24 Minutes/You Kent Always Say What You Want” Ned wages an anti-indecency campaign after Kent Brockman uses a shocking expletive on live television. Meanwhile, Bart and Lisa — with the help of Jack Bauer and Chloe O’Brian (guest voices Keifer Sutherland and Mary Lynn Rajskub) must stop bullies Dolph, Kearney and Jimbo from releasing the ultimate stink bomb at the school’s annual bake sale. Chris “Ludacris” Bridges is also featured as a guest voice.

Desperate Housewives (ABC, 9pm ET/PT) “Getting Married Today” A double wedding for two housewives; Bree and Orson Hodge return to Wisteria Lane; and Lynette’s estranged mother shows up on her doorstep.

Family Guy (FOX, 9pm ET/PT) “Meet the Quagmires” Death grants Peter’s wish of going back in time to be 18 again for just one night, but when he returns to the present he finds Lois is with Quagmire, and Stewie, Chris and Meg have all inherited Quagmire’s charming characteristics.

American Dad (FOX, 9:30pm ET/PT) “Joint Custody” When Roger finds out that Haley’s boyfriend, Jeff, is wanted in Florida for smuggling marijuana, he and Stan turn into bounty hunters and pursue Jeff across the country.

Brothers & Sisters (ABC, 10pm ET/PT) “Matriarchy” Justin reaches out to individual family members to spend time with them all until his return to active duty in the Army. Nora plans an engagement party for Kitty, who announces her plans to move out of the house. At the engagement party, more is revealed about Saul’s secret romantic life, and Sarah tries to come to terms with her marriage and where it’s headed.

24 (FOX, 8pm ET/PT) TWO HOUR FINALE “Day 6: 4:00AM-5:00AM/Day 6: 5:00am-6:00am” As the clock approaches the final hours of a long and terrifying day, Jack stops at nothing to protect the country from an international incident that could change the world forever.

The Bachelor: Officer and a Gentleman (ABC, 9pm ET/PT) TWO HOUR FINALE Andy returns to his childhood home to share his experience of a lifetime with his family and asks them for guidance in making the excruciating choice between Bevin and Tessa.

Heroes (NBC, 9pm ET/PT) “How to Stop an Exploding Man” With Isaac’s horrible predictions all unfolding before them, the everyday people with extraordinary abilities face moments of pain and peril in Kirby Plaza with unflinching heroism as the series’ first volume comes to a close — and the next surprisingly begins.

Law & Order: Criminal Intent (NBC, 10pm ET/PT) “Renewal, Part 1” A police recruit is found murdered after he makes a heroic save breaking up a bodega robbery. Meanwhile, Logan goes on a date with a woman he met in his building, but gets too close to a case when she stands him up for a second date and is found dead nearby. Wheeler is called abroad to oversee a past case she worked on while with the joint task force, and Detective Eames steps in to help out. Eric Bogosian guest stars. NCIS (CBS, 8pm ET/PT) — “Angel of Death” As the NCIS director returns from a controversial European junket, and Gibbs and his agents reluctantly prepare for hastily announced Homeland Security polygraph tests, tightly woven secrets among the team unravel, revealing the biggest surprise in this “season of secrets.” Meanwhile, an unarmed Dinozzo and his girlfriend are held captive by a drug dealer. Armand Assante guest stars.

American Idol (FOX, 8pm ET Live/PT Tape-Delayed) “Season Finale, Part 1” The final two contestants battle it out live at the famed Kodak Theatre in Hollywood. One will be the next American Idol, and one will go home.

Veronica Mars (The CW, 9pm ET/PT) Details TBA

Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (NBC, 10pm ET/PT) “Screwed” Chris “Ludacris” Bridges reprises his role as Tutuola’s delinquent nephew, as well as Lisa Gay Hamilton as the long-suffering mother, with special guest stars Nancy Grace and Star Jones playing themselves. Additionally, new cast member Adam Beach, playing Detective Chester Lake, is reunited with Tutuola. Steven Weber, Ernest Waddell, Vincent Spano, Judith Light and Michael Weston also guest star.

American Idol (FOX, 8pm ET Live/PT Tape-Delayed) “Two-Hour Season Finale, Part 2” Find out who America has chosen as their next Idol. The Top 12 reunite on the Kodak Theatre stage one last time before the newest winner is crowned.

Lost (ABC, 9pm ET/PT) “Through the Looking Glass” Jack and his fellow survivors begin their efforts to make contact with Naomi’s rescue ship.

May 24

Penn & Teller: Bullshit! (Showtime, 10pm ET/PT) “Anger Management” Despite the popularity of court-ordered anger management therapy, Penn and Teller find that the validity of such programs is less than certain, while a fascinating experiment with hot sauce exposes what’s wrong with “venting.”

May 29

House (FOX, 9pm ET/PT) “Human Error” A Cuban couple make a dangerous trip across the ocean in search of a diagnosis from House. Meanwhile, Foreman prepares for his last day of work at Princeton-Plainsboro, and Chase accuses House of trying to win Foreman over to dissuade him from leaving, prompting House to make a very rash decision that affects the whole team.

Boston Legal (ABC, 10pm ET/PT) “Trial of the Century” Alan and Denny represent two brothers accused of killing their abusive father, and Clarence and Jerry take on a huge gambling establishment when a woman alleges that her out-of-control gambling debts were the fault of the casino.
