The Blacklist named Best New Series in the Viewers Voice Awards

It’s a red letter day for Red Reddington. In a broad field of serious competition, NBC’s The Blacklist — starring James Spader as the rogue U.S. agent turned FBI informant — captured the Best New Series title in our 2014 Viewers Voice Awards, besting such heavy hitters as HBO’s Emmy-winning True Detective and FOX’s Sleepy Hollow for our readers’ affections. Proving it’s good to be bad when you’re Red.

Fans across the country cast their votes for the best and worst in cable TV in a variety of unusual categories.
