The neck crust and the snot-flying sneezes gave the Thompson/Shannon clan (aka Honey Boo Boo) the title last year for Best Redneck TV Show. They get their second nomination in the 2014 Viewers Voice Award but they are up against some tough competition including Discovery’s new Alaskan Bush People, which has generated strong ratings and plenty of online chatter, as well as, CMT’s highest-rated series ever Party Down South. Other noms in the category include Animal Planet’s own Turtleman for Call of the Wild and A&E’s ratings juggernaut Duck Dynasty. You decide what show deserves the crown of Best Redneck TV Show.
