IndyCar 2014 TV schedule on ABC and NBCSN

The Verizon IndyCar 2014 TV schedule on ABC and NBCSN begins March 30 with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg.

The Verizon IndyCar Series season revs up in Florida for the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on ABC Sunday, March 30, at 3:27pm ET. Prerace coverage begins at 3pm ET.  Will Power, Helio Castroneves, Marco Andretti, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Simon Pagenaud, Tony Kanaan, and last season’s IndyCar champion Scott Dixon take on the 1.8-mile, 14-turn course through downtown St. Petersburg and Albert Whitted Airport. After a stint in NASCAR, Juan Pablo Montoya returns to IndyCar racing this year. Noticeably absent is four-time IndyCar Series champion and three-time Indy 500 winner Dario Franchitti, who retired after a horrific crash in Houston last fall. ABC and NBCSN combine to televise every 2014 IndyCar Series race.

  1. Gee whiz…. What brain dead exec forgot to schedule IndyCar series after the Indy 500 !? Back to FOX for me…. see ya !

  2. So, only 1/3 of the reaces will be on broadcast TV? Sorry indy car, I’m not investing the time in your series if that is all I get. You need to figure out a way to get your races to everyone, and free, if you want to see an increase in viewers. Else, NASCAR will dominate you completely.
