The MTV Video Music Awards celebrates its 30th anniversary with a move to Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., and a redesigned Moonman award statuette by Brooklyn-based artist KAWS. MTV will air the awards live at 9pm ET/PT on Sunday, Aug. 25.

Justin Timberlake performs and is presented the “Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.” Past recipients include Michael Jackson, Madonna, Peter Gabriel, R.E.M., Beastie Boys, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Britney Spears.

Timberlake’s “Mirrors,” Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’ “Thrift Shop,” Bruno Mars’ “Locked Out of Heaven,” Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” featuring T.I. and Pharrell, and Taylor Swift’s “I Knew You Were Trouble” are the Video of the Year nominees.

Timberlake and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis lead all nominees with six. Bruno Mars follows with four nominations. P!nk, Robin Thicke, Miley Cyrus and Thirty Seconds to Mars each have three nominations. Others nominated include Taylor Swift, Drake, fun., Calvin Harris, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Kendrick Lamar, Lana Del Rey, The Weeknd and Capital Cities.
