In the American League, top vote getters include the Yankees’ Robinson Cano, the Angels’ Mike Trout, the Orioles’ Adam Jones and Chris Davis, and the Tigers’ Miguel Cabrera. For the National League, fans cast ballots for the likes of the Nationals’ Bryce Harper, the Reds’ Joey Votto and Brandon Phillips, the Rockies’ Troy Tulowitzki and the Braves’ Justin Upton. The NL won for the third straight time last year, scoring five runs in the first inning en route to an 8-0 thumping of the AL.
