The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to the legendary 2.5-mile oval at Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Brickyard 400 on Sunday, July 29, at 1pm ET on ESPN, as top drivers Jimmie Johnson, Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards, Matt Kenseth, Greg Biffle, Tony Stewart, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jeff Gordon race for a win on the famed track. Last year at Indy, Paul Menard not only won the first race of his Sprint Cup career, but he also got to kiss the masonry at the Yard of Bricks on the track’s start/finish line.
It’s the first Cup race of the season on ESPN/ABC, with the last 17 races and all of the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup on the networks. Full ESPN/ABC Sprint Cup schedule below:
