Whoever the new "Voice" is, host Carson Daly will make that declaration as the competition's season ends with "Live Finale, Part 2." Expect much to precede that announcement: Apart from a special airing before this, recapping the live final performances, there's two hours to fill here. Other musical talents make appearances. Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Pharrell Williams are the coaches, though their work is done by this point.
One of Port Charles' biggest events begins anew as the Nurses' Ball is staged again -- and though it probably wouldn't last three days in real time, it does here. Expect just about every major character on this venerable serial to factor into the occasion, which is marked by fashionable glitz, musical performances and "several dramatic events" (per ABC). The ball also has a larger real-world cause, since it promotes HIV/AIDS awareness and research.
Chef and hospitality expert Gordon Ramsay travels across the U.S. to help struggling inns. This season, in addition to the usual challenges of poor management practices, disharmonious staff chemistry, and questionable cleanliness, food and décor, Ramsay deals with a hotel owner who hoards clothing in the locked closets of the guests’ rooms; a historic inn where shocking rumors about the owners have left their rooms empty; and a family-built castle that has fallen on the shoulders of the ex-wife.
Miami -- and, more specifically, the HistoryMiami Museum -- is the setting for a new episode that appropriately covers a cross-section of ethnicities in exploring family histories. One woman believes she may be a descendant of Pocahontas, and another learns the secrets of her Cuban grandfather. A man discovers the specifics of what World War II meant for his Filipino forerunners, while another probe is related to the Tuskegee syphilis experiment.
