2016 NHRA TV schedule on FOX Sports

FOX Sports and the NHRA agreed to a TV rights deal that will have FOX Sports broadcasting more than 450 hours of NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series programming annually beginning in 2016. Previous TV rights holder ESPN was often criticized by NHRA fans for airing only same-day taped race coverage that was often preempted by other live sports. The NHRA’s deal with FOX brings the sport to a network that has a strong commitment to motorsports.
