“In Case of Emergency / Follow These Instructions / Stay Where You Are / Find a Secure Line / To Contact Your Handler / Find What You Need / In Almost the Last Place You Look / To Begin the Sequence / Focus on the Time / Then Head First Road West / To Your New Safehouse / The Final Order Will Be Revealed / When It’s Filed Away.” Even though all of the anagrams from the second half of the season have been decoded, Blindspot still left us with a lot of mysteries to solve. Frankly, I’m still reeling … Continue reading
This is the last episode before the big finale, Blindspotters! And oh, baby… it was a good one. It also had babies! “If Love a Rebel, Death Will Render” kicks off with Jane (Jaimie Alexander) yelling at Oscar (Francois Arnaud) about Mayfair (Marianne Jean-Baptiste) going to jail. He says she deserves it. Jane doesn’t seem to agree, but Sofia (Sarita Choudhury) steps out of the darkness to convince her. She does that by mentioning Daylight. • BLINDSPOT recaps: Episode 1 | Episode 2 | Episode 3 | Episode 4 | Episode 5 | Episode 6 | Episode 7 | Episode … Continue reading
The first season of Blindspot is about to wrap up, so things are really starting to hit the fan. Oh sure, we’ve seen bad guys (and bad FBI guys) die off, but really this show is starting to become less about solving the mysteries buried on Jane’s (Jaimie Alexander) body and more about solving what’s going on with our FBI team. This week’s episode, “Of Whose Uneasy Route” — that’s “To Your New Safe House, anagram fans — again throws Jane’s tattoos to the side for a good, old-fashioned hacker story. Now, I’d have to say watching an episode about … Continue reading
We only have a few episodes left in the freshman season of Blindspot… and we’re focusing on the doctor? Well, not really. However, Dr. Borden (Ukweli Roach) does get a little more screentime than usual tonight — and it’s a good thing! Thankfully, “Swift Hardhearted Stone” — any good guesses on the anagram? — doesn’t play like one long therapy session. It actually kicks into action right in the first frame. • BLINDSPOT recaps: Episode 1 | Episode 2 | Episode 3 | Episode 4 | Episode 5 | Episode 6 | Episode 7 | Episode 8 | Episode 9 … Continue reading
Last week, Blindspot stayed away from the usual formula and the plot did not revolve around Jane Doe’s (Jaimie Alexander) tattoos. This week, we’re back to business — and it’s a much-appreciated return. However, “In the Comet of Us” took a different approach than every other Blindspot episode. This week, we got to see how each member of our favorite FBI team handled the same situation, as well as the events that led to each one’s path. • BLINDSPOT recaps: Episode 1 | Episode 2 | Episode 3 | Episode 4 | Episode 5 | Episode 6 | Episode 7 | Episode 8 … Continue reading
This week’s episode of Blindspot brought back a special guest star I thought we’d never see again. No, it wasn’t Lou Diamond Phillips (boo!). Instead, we got Ennis Esmer! Yes, he’s not exactly a household name, but his character name is one that’s etched in my memory. Remember Rich DotCom, Blindspotters? Well, he was back — and just as annoying as ever. However, this week our FBI friends needed to partner up with the villain from episode 9 in order to catch a bad guy. Could he possibly be more irritating than the last time he was on the show? Let’s get … Continue reading
Last week on Blindspot, Patterson (Ashley Johnson) seemed like she was going all kinds of crazy. That kind of behavior isn’t just worthy of a subplot, people. She was this week’s spotlight! • BLINDSPOT recaps: Episode 1 | Episode 2 | Episode 3 | Episode 4 | Episode 5 | Episode 6 | Episode 7 | Episode 8 | Episode 9 | Episode 10 | Episode 11 | Episode 12 | Episode 13 | Episode 14 | Episode 15 | Episode 16 “Man’s Telepathic Loyal Lookouts” (which, thankfully, translates to “In Almost The Last Place You Look”) picked up with … Continue reading
This week, Blindspot was all about relationships. Reade (Rob Brown) is still heartbroken over Sarah, but Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) was getting comfortable with Allie (Trieste Kelly Dunn), sparks were flying between Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and Oscar (Francois Arnaud), and Patterson (Ashley Johnson) and David (Joe Dinicol)… well, they may still be a thing! It’s all very complicated, so we’d better get to the recap! • BLINDSPOT recaps: Episode 1 | Episode 2 | Episode 3 | Episode 4 | Episode 5 | Episode 6 | Episode 7 | Episode 8 | Episode 9 | Episode 10 | Episode 11 | … Continue reading
Lately, there’s been a lot of suspicion about Blindspot‘s Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) and her motives. Who is she? Where did she come from? How does she know all of those crazy kill moves? Well, the team is about to get a little more curious — and with good reason. In “Older Cutthroat Canyon” (which translates to “To Contact Your Handler”), it looks like someone is out to kill our favorite FBI team using one of Jane’s tattoos to set the trap. Is someone going to die? Does Reade (Rob Brown) magically show up after being knocked out last week? … Continue reading
After 13 episodes of Blindspot, Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) is finally starting to cause some suspicion! Doesn’t it seem like that should have happened on day one? Okay, at least on day two then? At the end of last week’s episode, some of the FBI team was looking at Jane Doe sideways. And really, why wouldn’t they? Aside from the obvious “who is this woman and where did she come from” thing, I still have to wonder: If Jane Doe has been identified as Taylor Shaw, why are we still calling her Jane? Those questions will have to wait for … Continue reading
