NBC has announced that world-renowned singing sensation Susan Boyle, who became an overnight phenomenon after appearing on Britain’s Got Talent earlier this year, will perform live for the first time in America on the season finale of NBC’s hit summer series America’s Got Talent on Wednesday, September 16 (8-10 p.m. ET).
ER and Rescue Me alum Maura Tierney has left the cast of NBC’s upcoming series Parenthood to focus on her treatment for breast cancer. Production of the series, originally scheduled for a fall debut, had been put on hold to accommodate Tierney’s diagnosis.
