What’s It All About? LeBlanc plays a contractor who takes on a more active role in parenting when his wife (Snyder) decides to go back to work full time. He gives his children terrible advice, and he has no idea how to interact with his kids’ teachers and the other parents. Man With a Plan is unoriginal and unfunny, just another forgettable installment in the oafish blue-collar dad sitcom genre that wore out its welcome 10 years ago. It’s also a poor fit for LeBlanc, whose excellent turn in Showtime’s Episodes proved that he still understands good, smart comedy. He’s ignored it here. Man With a Plan should plan on an early exit from the CBS schedule.
