Better Things
FX
Premieres:
Sept. 8
Airs: Thursdays at 10pm/PT
Who’s In It? Pamela Adlon, Mikey Madison, Hannah Alligood, Olivia Edward, Celia Imrie
What’s It All About? Sam Fox (Adlon) and her “very good, crazy house full of young girls kicking my ass.” Co-created by Adlon and Louis C.K., Better Things is inspired by Adlon’s real life as a divorced mom of three and her career performing cartoon voices (she voiced Bobby Hill on King of the Hill) and the occasional live-action project (she was Marcy Runkle on Californication). Sam’s life is never boring with her three daughters: rebellious teen Max (Madison), tween tomboy Frankie (Alligood) and attention-starved grade-schooler Duke (Edward). Better Things is a realistic and edgy depiction of parenthood and showbiz that Louie fans should love.
