If it’s your sweet, sweet fantasy to see pop megastar Mariah Carey get her own show, you’re in luck, lambs.

E! will premiere the singer’s new docuseries (her words) Mariah’s World on Sunday, Dec. 4 at 9/8CT. The 8-part event series — produced in part by reality vets Bunim/Murray Productions — will follow the bazillion-record-selling artist as she simultaneously kicks off her “Sweet Sweet Fantasy” tour of the U.K., Europe and Africa and plans her wedding to Aussie business mogul James Packer.

The announcement was made today at the Television Critics Association summer press tour at a panel preceded by bottles of Veuve Clicquot and launched with Carey escorted onto the stage by a cadre of buff and shirtless gents. After that, Carey did what she does best — charmed every soul in the room. Even when she interrupted the proceedings to get her makeup perfected. “Anybody else want a touch-up?” she cracked. “It’s very expensive.”

According to the E! release, Mariah “grants exclusive access to her life behind the mic, including her family, friends and inner circle who keep her at the top of her game.” That includes Packer and possibly Monroe and Moroccan, her 6-year-old twins with ex Nick Cannon.

“I have to mutually figure it out with Nick,” she said, noting that the America’s Got Talent host has been cooperative with the appearance of the cameras thus far. Something the pop star admits took getting used to herself, despite a quarter-century in the public eye.

“In the beginning I was withholding what I was willing to show, because I never know who I can trust,” she explained. “I was a little less free with my personality. But my goal is to making something that’s a lasting piece of work for my fans. And my kids. And myself.”

Carey also wants to give her fans an insider’s look into what goes into her tours and the music that connects them.

If you need a Carey fix before Mariah’s World debuts,  Carey is about to launch the second half of her critically-acclaimed Las Vegas residency “Mariah #1 to Infinity” at Caesars Palace later this month.
