U.S. TV coverage of Der Klassiker (Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich) moved to FX

The live telecast of “Der Klassiker” — a Bundesliga clash between first-place Bayern Munich and second-place Borussia Dortmund — will now be airing in the United States on FX. The match takes place Saturday, March 5, and, along with its airing on FX, will be streamed via FXNOW and FOX Sports GO (at FS1 level authentication).

(For you FX viewers who had planned to tune in at this time for the network’s airing of the feature film Bounty Hunter, sorry, but the movie will be preempted by the soccer match.)

FX coverage of Der Klassiker on March 5 begins at 12pm ET with Bundesliga Match Day, hosted by Ian Joy, with analysts Eric Wynalda and Jovan Kirovski. Kickoff follows at 12:20pm ET, with the match called by Derek Rae and analyst Owen Hargreaves.

Following the live telecast of Der Klassiker, FOX Sports will offer several re-airs of the match. FS1, FS2, FOX Soccer Plus and FOX Sports Regional Networks will feature re-airs throughout the weekend, including a primetime presentation March 5 at 7pm ET on FS2, and March 6 at 11:30pm ET on FS1. Check local listings for other re-airs of Der Klassiker on your FOX Sports regional network.
