WWE Raw gets an Entourage! Here’s the recap of last night’s show

Cast from the HBO hit series and upcoming movie, Entourage, appeared on this week’s Raw and helped WWE make its last night in the Nassau Coliseum memorable.

Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara introduced Long Island’s own Zack Ryder as the challenger for John Cena’s United States championship. Even though “Long Island Iced-Z” didn’t win the gold, he left a winner. Ryder was able to compete one more time in the historic venue, which has hosted WWE events since 1974. NXT champion Kevin Owens ruined the feel-good scene by attacking Cena.

The “Entourage” crew weren’t the only stars out for the show. Stephen Amell of Arrow fame sat ringside after months of people taking to social media in hopes he would guest host Raw one week. The celebrity member of the WWE Universe had some interaction with Stardust, who looks like a villain right out of comic books. Adrian Neville defeated Stardust with his Red Arrow finishing move with the Green Arrow looking on.

The last Raw before Elimination Chamber on the WWE Network on May 31 also saw the Authority try to get the best of the Dean Ambrose. They framed the “Lunatic Fringe” by getting a cameraman who was mistakenly beaten up by Ambrose to press charges. The superstar was arrested earlier in the night. Stephanie McMahon and Triple H gave him until the end of the show to sign the contract to face WWE world champion Seth Rollins at the Chamber.

With minutes left, Ambrose ended up driving a police van into the arena (“Stone Cold” Steve Austin flashbacks).

He clears house of The Authority with the help of Roman Reigns and puts his signature on the document to make his WWE title opportunity official. Raw kicked off with Ambrose and Reigns scoring a victory over Kane and Rollins.

Kane was a busy Director of Operations, as he made a 10-on-3 handicap match with the New Day trio battling all their tag team championship challengers at Elimination Chamber. Ryback defeated King Barrett, giving the “Big Guy” momentum going into the Intercontinental championship Chamber bout.

Sheamus beat rival Dolph Ziggler with help from Rusev, who made quick work of R-Truth. Rusev returned to waving the Bulgarian flag, but without Lana by his side. The “Ravishing Russian” didn’t appreciate Rusev’s sexist comments and played tonsil hockey with Ziggler.

Diva’s champion Nikki Bella and her twin sister Brie did commentary while Tamina with Naomi got an impressive win over Paige. Nikki will have to defend the championship at Elimination Chamber against Naomi and Paige in a triple threat match.

Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton were conspicuous by their absence. WWE played a tremendous video package as a tribute to the brave men and women in uniform. This was followed by a 10-bell salute.

Elimination Chamber airs 7 p.m. CT Sunday, May 31 on WWE Network. The preshow, starting at 6 p.m. CT, will have The Miz with special guest Daniel Bryan on Miz TV.
