Pam Dawber to reunite with Robin Williams on episode of “The Crazy Ones”

Three decades after their series Mork & Mindy ended, Pam Dawber and Robin Williams will reunite when Dawber guest-stars on an upcoming episode of Williams’ new CBS series The Crazy Ones.

Dawber, who played “Mindy” to Williams’ “Mork” on the beloved 1978-82 sitcom, will play a free-spirited author who goes on a date with Williams’ Crazy Ones character Simon Roberts soon after his faith in everlasting love is shaken by the breakup of a couple near and dear to him.

“It will be a joy to work with her again,” said Robin Williams, in a press release. “It’s a dream come true.”

“I’m so excited to be able to see and work with Robin again,” said Pam Dawber, in the release. “I hear The Crazy Ones’ set is a very happy one. I know it’ll be a great week!”

At a press conference last summer touting the premiere of The Crazy Ones, Williams reflected back on working with Pam Dawber on Mork & Mindy as he was discussing the joy of working off of other actors.

“Even with Mork & Mindy,” Williams said, “Pam held the line for me. She was incredible, which allowed me to be as outrageous as I was. She was incredible in many ways in terms of even my life, but the idea of acting with these people is a joy for me.”

You can see if the magic between the two is back when the episode of The Crazy Ones guest-starring Pam Dawber airs later this season.
